The following are special services/events at Saint Patrick's Cathedral during the month of January.
On Friday 6th and Saturday 7th January, Bach's Christmas Oratorio will be performed by the RTE National Symohony Orchestra. Parts 1-3 shall be performed on Friday evening and parts 4-7 shall be performed on Saturday evening. Both concerts start at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from www.rte.ie
Epiphany Carol Service: Sunday 8th January at 3:15pm. This is a service of Music and Readings sung by the Boys' & Men of the Cathedral Choir.
Organ Recital: Mr David Leigh, Assistant organist will give a recital on Sunday 15th January at 4:30pm of music by Messiaen, La Nativité du Seigneur.
A Ceremony of Carols: Sunday 29th January at 3:15pm. Benjamin Britten: A Ceremony of Carols, sung by the Cathedral Choristers accompanied by Dianne Marshall (harp).
