The Dean and Chapter of Saint Patrick’s are pleased to allow the Cathedral to be used for the staging of concerts, recitals and other musical events. The Cathedral’s unique atmosphere attracts musicians from around the world, thus making it a popular venue for a wide range of musical events. In particular, Saint Patrick’s is delighted to welcome visiting ensembles from home and abroad to perform in the cathedral. All initial enquiries should be made by email to the contact below or by contacting the Cathedral office on +353 1 453 9472.

Lunchtime Recitals

Lunchtime recitals can take place from Monday – Saturday (normally 13.00-14.00) throughout the year. There are no recitals on Sundays. Please contact Joy Stewart for further details.

Evening Recitals

The cathedral can be used for evening events and concerts. Initial enquiries regarding booking the cathedral for evening events should be made to the office.

Visiting Choirs

We are always delighted to welcome visiting choirs to Saint Patrick's Cathedral, and both cathedral and city have much to offer those who maintain and enhance our daily worship in this way.

The Cathedral welcomes applications from visiting choirs for Low Sunday (the first Sunday after Easter); the Sunday bank holiday weekends in May, June and October; as well as throughout July and August during the Cathedral Choir's recess.
