QR Codes in the Cathedral

When you visit St Patrick's Cathedral you will see these small barcodes around the building. These are called QR codes and they are part of our new digital learning exhibition entitled 'Tales from our Timeline'. The codes allow visitors with smart phones to quickly access content on our website without having to search for it.

Each one of these codes links to a section of our website.

How to use our QR Codes

1. Download the free QR Code
Scanner App using the Cathedral's WiFi connection

2. Using the App, hold your
phone in front of the code
and wait for the code to be
scanned

3. The scanned code will then take you to either a video or piece of text about the subject in question

 Don't have a smart phone?

You can view the exact same content here on the website either before or after your visit. Our video gallery page holds videos about the cathedral's history and our interactive timeline allows you to scroll through all the major events in the Cathedral's history and learn more if you wish to do so.
