Location

The Cathedral is located at the junction of Patrick Street and Upper Kevin Street. It is easily accessible by foot from the centre of the city.

Opening Hours

 PLEASE NOTE
The Cathedral operates primarily as a place of worship. Daily services occur in the Cathedral throughout the year and all are welcome to attend. Charges are made to tourists who wish to visit the Cathedral (outside of service times). Saint Patricks also closes for events such as graduations, filming or concerts and an up to date list of these can be found below. Occasionally the Cathedral closes at short notice for funerals.

Why is there an admission charge to enter the building? 

The Cathedral funds the enormous cost of ongoing maintenance and restoration primarily through money raised from tourism. Saint patricks recieves no state or church funding. Learn more
