DECEMBER NEWS UPDATE FROM SAINT PATRICK'S CATHEDRAL, DUBLIN

- The Investiture Ceremony of the Military & Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus is on Saturday 3 December at 18.00 in the Cathedral.
- The Friends' Christmas party takes place in the Deanery on Saturday 3 December at 20.00
- The Peter McVerry Trust concert takes place on Sunday 4 December at 19.30. Tickets are available on the night.
- The Advent Sequence is at Evensong on Sunday 11 December at 15.15
- A concert by Gloria will be performed in the Cathedral on Thursday 15 December at 19.00. This is a non-ticket event.
- On Friday 16 December, the Cathedral Grammar school will hold it's annual Open day in the Cathedral from 9.30 - 11.30. The Grammar School service will be held in the Cathedral at 12.00 followed by the annual prize-giving.
- On Sunday 18 December, the Festival of Nine lessons & Carols is at Evensong at 15.15. This service is the same one that is broadcast on Christmas Eve. This service is a non-ticket service.
- The Choir School will be hosting a grand Christmas Bake Sale on the afternoon of 18 December, before and after the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. Come prepared to be tempted by seasonal goodies - mince pies, gingerbread, yule logs, christmas cookies, and more.
- On Christmas Eve, the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols takes place at 16.00. This is a ticket only event.
- On Christmas Day, Holy Eucharist will be at 8.30am and Festival Eucharist will be at 11.15 at which the Dean will preach.
