A splendid evening awaits all lovers of choral music when the fourth Dublin choral Festival Gala Concert takes place in the glorious surroundings of St Patrick’s Cathedral.

The combined choirs of over 60 voices from across the United States of America, directed by Drs Joshua and Julie Yu Oppenheim will delight listeners with their interpretation of choral works from both sides of the Atlantic.

An eclectic mix of vocal Jigs, African American spirituals, body percussion and arrangements of traditional folk songs feature in the concert. And, at the heart of the programme is the gorgeous Serenade to Music composed by Ralph Vaughan William in 1938 as a tribute to Sir Henry Wood, and first performed at the Royal Albert Hall.
