Summer Family Workshop: Bookbinding

Looking for a creative way to spend your summer with the family?
Join us at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral for a hands-on bookbinding workshop designed especially for children.

Using colourful card, textured paper, ribbons, and cord, kids will learn simple binding techniques—no needles required! We’ll use hole punchers and child-friendly tools to create unique handmade books inspired by traditional styles.

BONUS!

If you’re also attending our Medieval Manuscript Workshop the following day, your handmade book will become your very own medieval-style manuscript, written with ink and feather quills!

Recommended for children aged 6 and up.
This workshop will run on a drop-in basis—come by the South Transept between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Booking is recommended. Please note all children must be accompanied by an adult during their visit.
