Enjoy the sights, sounds, and scents of spring in this family-friendly creative workshop at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral!
We’ll begin with a short, kid‑friendly guided walk around the lesser-known corners of the Cathedral grounds to spot seasonal flowers, admire the architecture, and hear a few stories about the site. After the walk we’ll gather in the South Transept to make some nature‑inspired clay art.
Children will choose from a selection of flowers and leaves collected from the grounds to arrange and press into clay. Each child will cut out their imprint and finish it as a small medallion to take home. The activity is hands‑on, relaxed, and designed to encourage curiosity about nature and the Cathedral’s outdoor spaces.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 5 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Drop‑in workshop: If you’d like to join the guided walk, please arrive at the South Transept by 11:00 AM. Otherwise, pop in anytime between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to make clay medallions. Please note the guided walk operates on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
