Easter Family Workshops: Monday Music Workshop

  • Mon 10 Apr
  • 10:00; 12:00; 14:00
  • Free

Please select one ticket per child. An adult must accompany each child/family.

This session – suitable for children 10+ and their parents – is a great way to learn more about music here in the Cathedral, as well as how an organ works.

We will use a WOOFYT (wooden one-octave organ for young technologists) to discover how science, technology, and engineering all come together to make music.

Up to 20 people can all play the WOOFYT together. They create and control air flow and pressure, and find out how pumps and valves work, developing teamwork, teaching skills, and leadership abilities.

The workshop will be run by our Education Officer, Clark Brydon.
