John Hemingway Tribute Evening

St. Patrick’s Cathedral Choir School and St. Andrew’s College, Dublin, together with the Hemingway Family, invite you to a special evening celebrating the life and legacy of Group Captain John Hemingway DFC (1919-2025), the last surviving Battle of Britain fighter pilot, who passed away earlier this year. John was a pupil and chorister at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Choir School and also attended St. Andrew’s College, making this joint celebration especially meaningful.

The evening will feature:
• Readings from John’s wartime recollections
• Music and songs he loved, from his Dublin boyhood to the Battle of Britain, performed by pupils from both schools
• Reflections on his courage, character, and enduring legacy
