La Nativité du Seigneur

Cathedral Organist David Leigh will, as part of the Cathedral’s Epiphany observation, perform La Nativité du Seigneur by Olivier Messiaen on Sunday 5th January at 16:30.

Written in 1935, La Nativité is a series of mediations for organ on the birth of Christ; it has been part of the Cathedral’s annual Epiphany devotion for a number of years. Each meditation will be interspersed with a reading and a prayer.
