Summer Family Workshop: Stained Glass Bookmarks

Looking for a creative way to spend your summer with the family? What better way than making art together in one of Ireland’s most inspiring landmarks?

Join us at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral for a vibrant summer workshop for families, where young artists will create their very own stained glass-style window bookmarks to take home and treasure.

Explore the Cathedral’s stunning stained glass windows, marvel at the way light and colour transform the space, and learn how these intricate works of art are made. Then, get inspired to create your own version using coloured paper, markers, and card—resulting in a unique bookmark you’ll be proud to use all summer long!

Recommended for children aged 6 and up. This workshop will run on a drop-in basis—feel free to stop by the South Transept anytime between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Booking is recommended.
Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult during their visit.
