Looking for a creative way to spend your summer with the family? Step into the enchanting world of the Middle Ages with our hands-on medieval tile-making workshop at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral!

Nestled within the Cathedral’s Baptistry lies a hidden treasure—the original medieval floor tiles with captivating designs: majestic lions, fierce boars, and delicate flowers. These centuries-old patterns will serve as inspiration for your child’s own artistic creation.

Perfect for children aged 6 and up, this hands-on workshop invites young participants to explore the techniques of tile making—from molding clay to decorating their very own medieval-style tile to take home. It’s a tactile, imaginative experience that brings history to life.

Recommended for children aged 6 and up.
This workshop runs on a drop-in basis—visit the South Transept anytime between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Booking is essential.
Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult during their visit.

Come create, explore, and bring a piece of the past into your summer!
