Cabbage Garden Interagency Group wins Charities Institute Collaboration Award

October 2, 2020  Posted in: News

News just in that the Charities Institute have awarded the inaugural Collaboration Award to a project very close to the hearts of the Cathedral and the local community, the Cabbage Garden Interagency Group. The Cabbage Garden Park used to be a part of the Cathedral lands and was used as a cemetery in the time of the Huguenots from 1666 up to the 1900’s.  Over the past few years we have worked to create events that bring life and positivism to the space making it a great addition to the local area. We would like to thank all our community partners on this project  including Dublin City CouncilMichael Egan (RADE) An Garda Síochána, 61st Merchants Quay Scouts, YMCA Dublin, D8Residents, Iveagh Celtic FC , Stephen Lynch, Eddie McGuinness MA. RII, together with local schools and businesses. Tackling local issues together, initiating area improvements and working together for the better.  #CabbageGardenInteragencyGroup
