A surprising number of women members of the Church of Ireland took part in various ways in the Easter Rising and subsequent conflicts. Albert Fenton, historian and Saint Patrick’s Cathedral board member talks about some of them, with particular emphasis on three of them, Dr Dorothy Stopford Price, Dr Isabella Webb and Dr Kathleen Lynn.
This lecture will take place in the Deanery Mews Building, located just across the road from the Cathedral. To access it, please use the door on Saint Patrick’s Close, directly opposite the churchyard. A member of staff will be there to welcome you in!
