A Dublin native and tenor, Rory Lynch is a member of Chamber Choir Ireland and the choir of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin. He has completed a Master’s degree in vocal performance at the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) with Dr Imelda Drumm and was awarded Blackwater Valley Opera’s Next Generation bursary to support his studies there. He has sung as a soloist and in choirs all his life – growing up in Irish choral institutions such as the Irish Youth Choir, New Dublin Voices, the Choir of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, and the Choral Scholars of University College Dublin. He gained his Bachelor of Music Education in 2020 from RIAM and Trinity College Dublin. He has performed oratorio of Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Mozart, and Saint-Saëns in concert with Culwick Choral Society, Dublin Goethe Choir, Dublin County Choir, and the Irish Baroque Orchestra. As a professional choral singer, Rory also works regularly with leading Irish vocal ensembles, including Chamber Choir Ireland, Resurgam, and Sestina Music.

William Bosworth is a pianist and singer. He studied at the Universities of Birmingham and Cambridge, where he was awarded a doctorate for his work on how the composer Johannes Brahms creates musical narratives using rhythm and time. He was an organ scholar at Magdalene College, Cambridge, and also sang with the choirs of Clare College, Christ’s College, and the University Chamber Choir. He now sings daily with the choir of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. He holds the LRSM in piano performance and most enjoys playing chamber music, and working with singers and instrumentalists. Outside of music, he edits The Ringing World, a weekly magazine for bellringers.

This recital will take place in the Cathedral crossing. Enter through either the Cathedral’s North Door or Main Entrance and show your ticket at the Welcome Desk. Please arrive at least 10 mins before the event start time.
