Heritage Week Workshops: Charcoal Sketching Evening

As part of National Heritage Week, join us for a special evening of art and creativity at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral.

In this relaxed workshop, you’ll explore the Cathedral’s breathtaking interior through the art of charcoal sketching. An experienced artist will be on hand to offer guidance and tips to help you make the most of the session—whether you’re new to drawing or an experienced sketcher.

Participants will be free to wander the Cathedral, choosing a favourite spot to sketch—from the impressive arches and vaulted ceilings to the intricate details of floor tiles and stained glass.

All materials will be provided, and no previous experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and creativity.

This is a drop-in session for adults (18+), running from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, beginning with a short introduction to the Cathedral and some sketching techniques.
