Past Pupils

St Patrick’s Cathedral Past Choristers’ & Pupils’ Association was founded in 1882, making us one of the earliest school alumni groups.  Membership is open to alumni of both Cathedral schools, and former members of the Cathedral choirs.

Our objective is to organise social activities for our members and to foster mutual interests particularly in relation to the Cathedral and the Cathedral Schools.

• Our regular and annual social activities are listed as follows;
• a community table quiz in the first few months of each year
• a summer garden party
• like old times we sing two Sunday services during the choir’s summer break
• an Autumn Supper
• a reunion Evensong with the current cathedral choir usually in October
• a cake sale in the cathedral for funds
• our Annual General Meeting
• we also provide volunteer help for several services, such as the very popular Christmas services.

These events are arranged by a committee, who are elected at our annual AGM, and consist of,

• a President,
• an Honorary Secretary,
• an Honorary Treasurer,
• a President elect,
• and up to eight other members.
