Discover how art can feel a little like magic in this new summer family workshop at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral.
Children will start by drawing with white oil pastels on white card, creating designs that seem to disappear. Then comes the surprise: as they brush watercolour paint over their page, their hidden artworks magically appear, bringing patterns, shapes, and colours to life.
This relaxed, hands‑on session is perfect for families looking to explore new art techniques with big, surprising results. Join us in the Deanery Mews Building, our new education space located just across from the Cathedral entrance, and enjoy a creative morning together!
Recommended for children aged 4 and up.
This workshop runs on a drop-in basis. Feel free to stop by the Mews Building anytime between 11:00 and 1:00pm.
Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult during their visit.
How to get there: To access the Mews Building, please use the door on Saint Patrick’s Close, directly across from the churchyard gate. A member of staff will be there to welcome you in!
