Create colourful summer-inspired art in this family workshop at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral!
Discover the fascinating art of mosaics and learn how artisans throughout history have used materials such as glass, stone, and tiles to create beautiful and intricate designs.
Then, children will take inspiration from summer scenes or patterns from within the Cathedral and will design and create their own mosaic artworks using a rainbow of coloured paper and plenty of imagination. After the workshop, they will be able to take their mosaics to decorate their homes.
Recommended for children aged 6 and up. This workshop will run on a drop-in basis—feel free to stop by the South Transept anytime between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
