La Nativité du Seigneur

All are invited to come and join us as we mark the beginning of a new year and the Feast of the Epiphany with a performance of Olivier Messiaen’s La Nativité du Seigneur.

Written in 1935, at age 27, Messiaen wrote his ‘personal statement to faith’ as the birth of Jesus inspires the nine-movement work.

Described as one of the greatest organ works of our time, the Cathedral Organist, David Leigh, will be playing on the spectacular Father Willis Organ in this unmissable concert.
