Highlights from Heritage Week 2016

August 29, 2016  Posted in: News, Uncategorised

Another Heritage Week has come and gone, and this year’s lineup was bigger and better than ever! Over 2,000 people attended at least one event during Heritage Week, with visitors from as far away as Sri Lanka and as near as Dublin 8.

Highlights of the week included the series of jazz recitals in the nave, which drew large audiences after work, and tours of the bell ringing room, which booked out well in advance of Heritage Week.

We were especially pleased to see so many people talking about their experiences here on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram:

With Heritage Week over, we look forward to welcoming more visitors here for Culture Night, and for the upcoming free programming we host year-round. Visit our calendar to learn more about what we have coming up.
