Jonathan Swift Festival 2019

October 4, 2019  Posted in: News

The Jonathan Swift Festival is back for another year! This year’s events have just gone live on the festival website. This year the programme is themed around under the tagline “Georgian Dublin, Behind the Facade” and participants are invited to immerse themselves into Swift’s era. Some of the highlights of this year’s festival include: A Georgian Lunch in Dublin Castle (featuring a menu inspired by the 18th century), an opportunity to sing Handel’s Messiah in the Cathedral, a new Georgian audio drama (going live on 21 November) which is set against the streets around the Cathedral and a panel discussion featuring the Archbishop of Canterbury (Justin Welby), Dr Mary McAleese, Lord Paul Bew and Bryan Dobson.

Tickets always sell out fast so book early to avoid disappointment!
